Promotional materials for an exhibition of paintings by Laura Gutowska at Cztery Sciany Gallery, Cracow
Design of a poster and a trifold leaflet for In the Realm of Astral Bodies — a poetic exhibition of watercolours by Laura Gowska, held at the Cztery Sciany Gallery of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. The series, inspired by zodiac constellations, gently blends the celestial and the earthly — stars and tulips, planets and sunflowers. The exhibition took place on April 26–30, 2025, as part of Krakers, Cracow Art Week.

“ (…) Laura returns with a new series — In the Realm of Astral Bodies. Inspired by zodiac constellations, the works continue her earlier explorations, now reaching beyond the earthly landscape into the night sky. (...) Tulips bloom beside the June Gemini, sunflowers and the burning sun accompany the August Leo. In the Pisces painting, a dry tree and the sun hint at the silhouettes of Apollo and Daphne from earlier works.
The exhibition features rarely shown watercolors — the first, intuitive stage of Laura’s creative process. Painted in series, they show how the same scene transforms through shifts in color. The lightness of the watercolor contrasts with the density of her later oil paintings — like a return to the source, to the initial spark from which a whole cosmos of stories emerges.”
